Online solutions and implementation support executive

Working as part of a small team the Online Solutions and Implementations Support Executive will be involved in all aspects of the travel technology with a strong focus on online client services; taking responsibility for implementing and supporting corporate online booking tools.

The successful candidate will have a mixture of IT and communication skills and will be self-motivated and highly organised individual who can manage several projects at once. They will also have the desire to come forward with new ideas and help with identifying and implementing of new technologies.

IT:-

Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 and fully competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), HTML. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 is an advantage.

  • Online services implementation & support: corporate self-booking tools and online Management Information reports

  • Give technical presentations and training to corporate clients

  • Provide technical support and training to all company departments

  • Manage Microsoft Office 365

  • Maintain and develop company Intranet site

  • Work closely with Director of Technology on technical projects

  • Liaise with technical suppliers

  • Business Disaster Recovery procedure

  • Assist with IT troubleshooting

 

Operations:-

  • Undertake all tasks as an operational team member as required by Meon

  • Be fully conversant with the full portfolio of services and online booking tools offered by Meon Travel

  • Be familiar with client travel policies and how each account operates

  • Examine all Fare Research opportunities and ensure maximum utilisation of contract rates and agent commissions offer by suppliers

  • Upsell Meon Travel’s full range of services to existing customers

  • Account manage any designated accounts and disseminate new and relevant information to the whole team

  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the business travel market

  • Assist with reconciliation duties as required

  • Maintain client files and keep Meon Travel’s Intranet up to date

  • Undertake any agreed additional or specialist responsibilities relating to operations administration

  • Liaise closely with the Strategic Sales Managers to win new business and retain business

  • Ensure that all transactions carried out within the Company are treated as strictly confidential at all times

  • Articulate and with excellent command of written English

  • Good communicator and team player

  • Strong time management skills

  • Good attention to detail

  • Intimate knowledge of GDS travel systems
