Christine Millson
Head of Repatriations
Christine joined us back in 2011, bringing with her the sort of travel knowledge you simply can't teach. Thanks to her years at Thomson and an apprenticeship in a High Street travel agency, she knows tour operators, charter airlines and low-cost carriers inside out. In fact, what Christine doesn't know about commercial travel probably isn't worth knowing. And when it comes to commercial medical repatriations, she's in a league of her own.
Today, as Head of Repatriations, she leads a team that genuinely changes lives every single day. Most people see travel as holidays and sunshine. Christine sees it as getting people home safely when life takes an unexpected turn. It's not just a job to her, it's a calling and that's a rare quality.
She's also the first to volunteer for a challenge, impossibly enthusiastic, endlessly chatty and blessed with the kind of calm competence that makes everyone else's life easier. If there were an Olympic event for solving impossible travel problems while simultaneously making everyone laugh, she'd be on the podium.
Away from work, Christine swaps emergency flight plans for campervan conversions, theatre trips and the occasional glass of Prosecco purely for research purposes, obviously. Montenegro remains her favourite destination, but she'll happily board a plane to anywhere she's never been before. After all, every new destination has a story to tell, and Christine has never been one to turn down a good story.
