When Eliza joined us, we thought we'd hired a Business Travel Assistant. What we actually got was a human espresso shot with the volume permanently set to maximum. She's now one of our liveliest Business Travel Consultants and, somehow, has become an indispensable part of the team.

The remarkable thing is that beneath the noise is an exceptionally talented travel professional. She mastered our booking systems in record time, has an encyclopaedic knowledge of airport codes that borders on the mildly concerning, and has successfully made it onto the millionaire trip. If you're ever stuck trying to remember the code for an obscure airport, don't bother with Google, just ask Eliza. She'll probably answer before you've finished the question.

She's also one of those inspiring people who genuinely loves travelling as much as booking them. A South African safari sits at the top of her travel memories, although Greece is her spiritual home and somewhere she'd return to without hesitation. Canada is next on the list, mainly because her brother lives there, which is a decent excuse.

Her colleagues describe her as loud, annoying and whimsical. I'd argue enthusiastic, unforgettable and brilliantly entertaining. Either way, the office would be a far quieter and much less enjoyable place without her. At weekends you'll usually find her walking Tilly or enjoying good food with friends before planning the next adventure.
