Accounts Assistant

Every office has that person everyone loves talking to. The one with the answer to the quiz, the one who'll make you laugh when the day gets a bit frantic, and the one who somehow keeps everything ticking over without making a fuss. For us, that's Sarah.

Sarah joined the team a few months ago as our Accounts Assistant, bringing with her a wonderfully varied career. She started out in hotels as a receptionist, before moving into accountancy and bookkeeping. During the pandemic she swapped spreadsheets for a postbag, delivering mail to the local community, before returning to bookkeeping and eventually finding her way to us.

Outside the office, Sarah's life revolves around two things: her daughters and sport. She's a devoted Portsmouth supporter with a season ticket, follows almost every sport you can think of (Formula 1 and cricket being the notable exceptions), enjoys paddleboarding, a day at the races and has somehow accumulated an impressive collection of 52 football stadium mugs.

Travel is firmly in her blood too. Having lived in Australia as a child and with family in the Turks and Caicos Islands, she's no stranger to adventure. Her perfect holiday involves cocktails on a beach in Zante, a Mount Gay rum and coke in hand, while her dream trip would be heading back to Australia. Throw in a packet of Percy Pigs and a wander around an outlet shopping village, and you've got Sarah's idea of a perfect day.
