Virgin Atlantic rewards not so frequent flyers

Virgin Atlantic High Five Loyalty Scheme

Virgin Atlantic has unveiled a new Flying Club reward that recognises members for coming back to the airline over time, regardless of tier status or spend.

Launching in January 2026, High Five rewards members for flying with Virgin across any five distinct years, consecutive or not. Qualifying Red, Silver and Gold members will receive 12,000 Virgin Points to put towards their next flight or holiday; Red members will also earn 10% bonus points on all future flights.

Flight tracking will be backdated to 1 January 2021, so tens of thousands of Flying Club members will receive a reward at launch. Rewards will automatically be credited to eligible members’ Flying Club accounts.

Anthony Woodman, Virgin Atlantic Vice President, Flying Club & CRM, said: “High Five is our newest way of saying thank you to those customers who choose us whenever they can, no matter how frequently.”

Members with household accounts can also pool multiple 12,000-point rewards earned in the same year. Another bonus is that Virgin Points never expire and can be spent across Virgin, Delta Air Lines and other partners across the Virgin Red family.

From early 2026, members can see how close they are to their next reward in the Virgin Atlantic app. A return Saver Reward Seat from London to New York starts from 12,000 Virgin Points in Economy and 16,500 in Premium.
